Apps & Tools

Exploring game and website creation has spawned some ideas for useful tools I've built for myself to complete other projects. I also am always looking for ways to better share what I do and make it easier and more fun for people to enjoy it. That's creating clarity from complexity in a very literal form.

AI-assisted development has made that impulse much easier to act on. I've been building things with technology for decades, but what changed recently was the amount of friction between having an idea and being able to explore it. Kiro gives me a development environment where I can describe what I want, work through the requirements, inspect the implementation, test the behavior, and iterate quickly. That makes it practical to build small tools that I would never have invested the time to build manually. Not every experiment needs to become a product. Sometimes the value is simply discovering whether an idea works.

Games let me explore systems by turning them into experiences. Apps let me explore systems by turning them into tools. Some of these support other creative projects like game development or web experiences. Others exist simply because they were interesting problems to solve. All of them are free, browser-based, and require no installs or accounts.
